1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of alwayshinecleaners.com and any cleaning services provided by Spick and Span LLC, a Georgia limited liability company operating under the DBA Always Shine Cleaners. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not book or use our services.
2. Our Services
Always Shine Cleaners provides residential cleaning services including Standard Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning, Airbnb and Short-Term Rental Turnover Cleaning, and Recurring Cleaning Plans to clients in the Atlanta Metro area, Georgia.
All services are performed by independent contractors who have passed background checks and completed a test clean prior to being dispatched to client homes. Spick and Span LLC is fully insured and bonded.
3. Booking and Confirmation
Submitting a booking request through our website or booking form does not constitute a confirmed appointment. A booking becomes a confirmed appointment only after:
- Your booking has been reviewed and accepted by our team
- A valid credit or debit card has been placed on file
- You have received a written or text confirmation from Always Shine Cleaners
We reserve the right to decline any booking request at our sole discretion.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are starting prices and may vary based on home size, condition, selected add-ons, and specific service requirements. Your exact price will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Payment is collected via credit or debit card on file through our secure payment processor, Stripe. Cards are charged 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. For Move-In/Move-Out and large Deep Clean appointments over $250, full payment is collected at the time of booking.
For recurring clients, your card on file will be charged automatically on a set schedule corresponding to your selected frequency — weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
All prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes may apply depending on your service location.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that schedules change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is as follows:
- Cancellations made 48 or more hours before the scheduled appointment: Full refund issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment: No refund will be issued. The full appointment amount will be charged or retained.
- Rescheduling with 48 or more hours notice: No fee. One complimentary reschedule per appointment.
- Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice: A $35 rescheduling fee applies.
- No-shows or lockouts: If our cleaner arrives at the scheduled time and is unable to access the property — due to incorrect entry information, no one home, or any other reason within the client's control — the full appointment amount will be charged and no refund will be issued.
To cancel or reschedule, contact us via text or email before the applicable deadline.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee and Re-Clean Policy
We stand behind the quality of every clean. If you are not satisfied with any area of your service, contact us within 24 hours of your appointment and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional charge.
To be eligible for a re-clean, you must:
- Contact us within 24 hours of your appointment completion
- Describe the specific areas or tasks you are unsatisfied with
- Allow us reasonable access to return within 48 hours of your complaint
Our satisfaction guarantee covers the scope of work included in your booked service. It does not apply to conditions that were present before our arrival, damage caused by pre-existing issues, or areas not included in your selected service package.
We reserve the right to assess the situation and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a re-clean, partial credit, or in limited circumstances a partial refund at our sole discretion.
7. Condition of Home and Upcharges
Our pricing is based on a home in a reasonably maintained condition. The following conditions may result in additional charges that will be communicated to you before work begins:
- Pets in the home: +$45 flat fee. Homes with heavy pet hair, odor, or evidence of accidents may incur additional charges.
- Heavy grease buildup on oven or stovetop: +$88
- Heavy grease on kitchen cabinets: +$128
- Moldy shower or tub: +$48 per unit
- Excessive clutter or hoarding conditions: We reserve the right to decline service or requote at an hourly rate
- Wall washing: Quoted separately at an hourly rate due to labor intensity
If our cleaner arrives and the condition of the home significantly differs from what was represented at booking, we reserve the right to requote, charge applicable upcharges, or decline to perform the service. In the event we decline, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the original booking amount will apply to cover cleaner time and scheduling.
8. Access to Your Home
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete entry instructions at the time of booking. This includes door codes, lockbox combinations, gate access, parking instructions, and any other information our cleaner needs to access your property.
If entry instructions change before your appointment, you must notify us at least 2 hours in advance via text.
Always Shine Cleaners and its contractors are not responsible for any delays or inability to complete service resulting from inaccurate or incomplete entry information provided by the client.
9. Valuables, Fragile Items, and Liability
We ask that you secure or remove any irreplaceable, fragile, or high-value items before your appointment. While our cleaners are trained professionals, accidents can occur.
Spick and Span LLC carries General Liability insurance. In the event of damage caused by one of our cleaners, you must notify us in writing within 24 hours of your appointment. Claims reported after 24 hours may not be eligible for coverage.
We are not liable for:
- Damage to items not disclosed or improperly secured prior to the appointment
- Pre-existing damage or wear
- Damage resulting from faulty or defective fixtures, surfaces, or hardware in the home
- Loss of cash, jewelry, or other valuables not secured prior to our arrival
Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement at current market value, not to exceed the total amount paid for the appointment in question.
10. Independent Contractors
All cleaning professionals dispatched by Always Shine Cleaners are independent contractors, not employees of Spick and Span LLC. We are responsible for vetting, background checking, and quality standards. Each contractor maintains their own tools and supplies unless otherwise agreed upon.
11. Solicitation of Cleaners
By booking with Always Shine Cleaners, you agree not to directly hire, solicit, or engage any cleaner introduced to you through our service for a period of 12 months following your last appointment with us, whether for cleaning services or any other purpose.
In the event of a violation of this clause, you agree to pay a referral and training fee of $2,500 per cleaner solicited. This fee represents a reasonable estimate of our cost to recruit, screen, background check, and train a replacement cleaner.
12. Recurring Services
Recurring cleaning plans — weekly, biweekly, or monthly — continue until cancelled by either party. To cancel a recurring plan, you must provide written notice at least 7 days before your next scheduled appointment via text or email.
Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice before a recurring appointment will result in a final charge equal to 50% of your regular appointment rate.
We reserve the right to adjust recurring pricing with 30 days written notice. You may cancel without penalty if you do not accept the new pricing.
13. Promotional Offers and Discounts
Promotional offers, including first-time discounts such as $25 off your first clean, are valid for new clients only, may not be combined with other offers, and are subject to change or discontinuation at any time without notice. Promotional codes must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be applied retroactively.
14. Photography and Marketing
With your permission, we may photograph completed cleans for use in our marketing materials, website, and social media. No personally identifiable information or specific addresses will be shared. You may opt out of this by notifying us in writing at any time.
15. Privacy
We collect your name, address, contact information, and payment details solely for the purpose of providing our services. We do not sell your information to third parties. Payment information is processed securely through Stripe and is never stored directly on our servers. For full details see our Privacy Policy.
16. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or any service provided by Always Shine Cleaners, you agree to first contact us directly to attempt to resolve the issue informally. If a resolution cannot be reached within 14 days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Fulton County, Georgia, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Spick and Span LLC.
17. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia without regard to conflict of law principles.
18. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
