Booking Terms

These Booking Terms ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you (the "Customer") and Spick and Span LLC, a Georgia limited liability company operating under the DBA Always Shine Cleaners (the "Company"), regarding the provision of residential cleaning services. By booking our cleaning services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT BOOK CLEANING SERVICES.

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

By booking our cleaning services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • You have the legal authority to grant access to the property to be cleaned
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this binding agreement
  • All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete

2. Services

Spick and Span LLC DBA Always Shine Cleaners provides professional residential cleaning services in the Atlanta Metro area, Georgia. The specific services, scope, frequency, and pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking. Services include:

  • Standard Residential Cleaning
  • Deep Cleaning
  • Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning
  • Airbnb and Short-Term Rental Turnover Cleaning
  • Recurring Cleaning Plans — weekly, biweekly, or monthly

The Company reserves the right to modify service offerings and pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Service Scope and Limitations

Standard Cleaning includes:

  • Kitchen surfaces and appliance exteriors
  • Bathroom scrub and sanitization — toilets, tubs, showers, mirrors
  • Bedroom tidying — dusting, vacuuming, beds straightened
  • Living areas — dusting, vacuuming, mopping hard floors
  • Trash removal throughout
  • Interior glass and mirror cleaning

Deep Cleaning includes everything in Standard, plus:

  • Inside oven and refrigerator
  • Baseboards and window sills
  • Cabinet fronts and light fixtures
  • Detail cleaning throughout all rooms

Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning includes:

  • Full deep clean of every room
  • Inside all cabinets and drawers
  • Inside oven and refrigerator
  • Baseboards, door frames, and light switches
  • Bathroom detail clean
  • Window sills and interior glass
  • Add-ons available: inside dishwasher (+$25), garage sweep (+$45), interior windows (+$40)

Airbnb and Short-Term Rental Turnover includes:

  • Full standard clean of all rooms
  • Kitchen reset and appliance exteriors
  • Bathroom sanitization throughout
  • Linen and towel staging (host-supplied linens only)
  • Trash removal and bin relining
  • Final walkthrough available on request

Recurring Cleaning Plans include:

  • All Standard Cleaning services
  • Flexible scheduling — weekly, biweekly, or monthly
  • Priority booking windows
  • We work to assign a consistent cleaner every visit
  • Up to 15% savings vs. one-time rates

Unless specifically agreed upon in writing, our services do NOT include:

  • Cleaning at heights requiring ladders above 2 steps
  • Moving heavy furniture or appliances
  • Exterior window cleaning above ground level
  • Cleaning of biohazardous materials
  • Cleaning in hoarding conditions or properties with excessive clutter
  • Pest control or infestation remediation
  • Carpet shampooing or upholstery cleaning unless specifically booked
  • Wall washing unless specifically requested and quoted separately
  • Post-construction cleaning unless specifically booked

The Company reserves the right to refuse service or discontinue cleaning if conditions are unsafe or fall outside the agreed scope of work.

4. Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

All cleaning equipment and products are supplied by our independent contractor service providers unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of booking. If you prefer specific cleaning products such as eco-friendly or hypoallergenic products, please notify us at the time of booking. Additional fees may apply for specialty products.

5. Additional Charges

Our pricing is based on a home in a reasonably maintained condition. The following conditions may result in additional charges that will be communicated to you before work begins:

  • Pets in the home: +$45 flat fee. Homes with heavy pet hair, odor, or evidence of accidents may incur additional charges at our discretion
  • Heavy grease buildup on oven or stovetop: +$88
  • Heavy grease buildup on kitchen cabinets: +$128
  • Moldy shower or tub: +$48 per unit
  • Wall washing: Quoted separately at an hourly rate due to labor intensity. Wall washing will always be the final task completed and priced separately
  • Excessive clutter or hoarding conditions: The Company reserves the right to requote at an hourly rate or decline service entirely

If the condition of your home significantly differs from what was represented at the time of booking, we reserve the right to requote, apply applicable upcharges, or decline to perform the service. In the event we decline upon arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the original booking amount will apply to cover service provider time and scheduling.

All additional charges will be communicated and confirmed with you before work begins whenever possible. In cases where conditions are discovered mid-clean, you will be notified immediately.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due according to the terms confirmed at booking
  • A valid credit or debit card must be placed on file before your appointment is confirmed
  • Cards on file are charged 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment
  • For Move-In/Move-Out and Deep Clean appointments over $250, full payment is collected at the time of booking
  • For recurring services, your card on file will be charged automatically before each scheduled visit on your selected frequency
  • All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms
  • A service fee of 50% may be charged for returned or failed payments
  • The Company reserves the right to adjust pricing based on service frequency, property size, condition, or additional services requested with reasonable notice

7. Scheduling, Cancellation, and Rescheduling

Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made 48 or more hours before the scheduled appointment: full refund issued within 5–7 business days
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment: no refund. Full appointment amount will be charged or retained
  • For recurring services, future appointments remain scheduled unless cancelled with proper notice of at least 7 days before the next scheduled visit

Rescheduling:

  • Rescheduling with 48 or more hours notice: no fee, one complimentary reschedule per appointment
  • Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice: a $35 rescheduling fee applies

Access to Property:

  • You are responsible for ensuring our service providers can access your property at the scheduled time
  • You must provide accurate access instructions, door codes, lockbox combinations, and any other entry information at the time of booking
  • If access instructions change before your appointment, you must notify us at least 2 hours in advance
  • If service providers are unable to access your property due to lockout, incorrect entry information, or any circumstances within your control, you will be charged the full service amount and no refund will be issued

No-Show Policy:

If we arrive and cannot complete the service for any reason within your control, you will be charged the full service amount.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee and Re-Clean Policy

We stand behind the quality of every clean. If you are not satisfied with any area of your service, contact us within 24 hours of your appointment and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional charge.

To be eligible for a re-clean you must:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of your appointment completion
  • Describe the specific areas or tasks you are unsatisfied with
  • Allow us reasonable access to return within 48 hours of your complaint

Our satisfaction guarantee covers the scope of work included in your booked service. It does not apply to conditions present before our arrival, damage caused by pre-existing issues, or areas not included in your selected service package.

We reserve the right to assess the situation and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a re-clean, partial credit, or in limited circumstances a partial refund at our sole discretion.

9. Property Access and Keys

  • You may provide the Company with keys, access codes, or other entry methods for your property
  • All keys and access information will be kept secure and used solely for providing agreed services
  • You are responsible for notifying us immediately if locks are changed or access codes are updated
  • Keys may be returned upon request or upon termination of recurring services
  • The Company is not responsible for locksmith fees if you are locked out of your property

10. Pet Policy

  • Please inform us of any pets at the time of booking. A $45 pet fee applies to all homes with pets
  • For safety reasons, we request that aggressive or unpredictable pets be secured in a separate area during cleaning
  • The Company reserves the right to refuse service or leave immediately if service providers feel unsafe due to pet behavior
  • You are responsible for any injuries to service providers caused by your pets
  • Additional charges may apply for homes with excessive pet hair, odor, or evidence of accidents

11. Damage and Breakage Policy

The Company takes great care when cleaning your property. However, accidents may occasionally occur.

Reporting:

  • You must report any damage claims within 24 hours of service completion
  • Claims require photographic evidence and a detailed written description
  • Claims reported after 24 hours may not be eligible for coverage

Coverage:

  • Spick and Span LLC carries general liability insurance for damages caused by our negligence during service
  • Resolution is limited to the lesser of repair or replacement cost or fair market value at the time of damage

Exclusions:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear and tear
  • Items already damaged, cracked, or in fragile condition prior to our arrival
  • Damage to items improperly stored or in unstable positions
  • Damage caused by undisclosed property conditions
  • Fine art, antiques, collectibles, or irreplaceable items unless specifically agreed to clean with special care
  • Damage resulting from customer negligence or third parties
  • Cash, jewelry, or valuables not secured prior to our arrival

12. Theft Policy

The Company conducts thorough background checks on all service providers and maintains strict hiring standards.

Reporting:

  • You must report any theft claims within 7 days of the service in question
  • Theft claims require a valid police report filed with the appropriate Atlanta Metro area law enforcement agency
  • You must provide the Company with a copy of the police report and reasonable opportunity to investigate

Exclusions:

  • Cash, gift cards, securities, or cryptocurrency
  • Jewelry, precious metals, or gemstones not secured prior to our arrival
  • Items claimed without proof of prior ownership
  • Items of purely sentimental value without documented market value

13. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information, property address, and access instructions
  • Maintain a reasonably clean and safe working environment for our service providers
  • Secure all valuables, important documents, cash, and fragile items prior to service
  • Remove or secure any items you do not want moved or cleaned
  • Inform us of any special concerns, fragile items, or areas requiring extra care
  • Disclose any property conditions that may affect service — pets, health concerns, access issues, hoarding conditions, mold, or hazardous materials
  • Provide adequate notice of any changes to scheduled services
  • Treat our service providers with respect and professionalism at all times

14. Service Provider Information

Background Checks: All service providers are independent contractors who have undergone background checks and completed a test clean prior to being dispatched to client homes. Spick and Span LLC maintains general liability insurance covering operations.

Service Provider Assignment: The Company will make reasonable efforts to assign consistent service providers for recurring services. The Company reserves the right to substitute service providers as needed due to scheduling, illness, or other circumstances. All substitute providers are held to the same standards.

Independent Contractor Status: All cleaning professionals dispatched by Spick and Span LLC DBA Always Shine Cleaners are independent contractors, not employees of Spick and Span LLC. They supply their own cleaning equipment and products.

Tipping: Tips are appreciated but never required. Tips may be provided directly to service providers or added to your payment at checkout.

Non-Solicitation: By booking with Always Shine Cleaners, you agree not to directly hire, solicit, or engage any service provider introduced to you through our service for a period of 12 months following your last appointment. In the event of a violation, you agree to pay a referral and training fee of $2,500 per service provider solicited to Spick and Span LLC.

15. Health and Safety

Your Property:

  • You must inform us of any known health hazards present on the property including mold, asbestos, lead paint, or other dangerous conditions
  • You must disclose any infectious diseases present in the household
  • The Company reserves the right to refuse service or require additional protective equipment for hazardous conditions

Our Service Providers:

  • If a service provider is ill, we will reschedule or send a qualified substitute
  • Service providers follow health and safety protocols as established by the Company

16. Insurance

Spick and Span LLC carries general liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request. Service providers are independent contractors responsible for their own licensing and compliance with applicable laws.

17. Force Majeure

Spick and Span LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other emergencies. In such cases we will reschedule your service at the earliest available opportunity.

18. Termination

By Customer: You may discontinue services at any time by providing notice according to the cancellation policy above. For recurring services you must cancel with proper notice of at least 7 days to avoid charges for the next scheduled visit.

By Company: Spick and Span LLC may terminate services immediately for:

  • Non-payment or repeated failed payments
  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Verbal abuse or harassment of service providers
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Providing false or inaccurate information at booking

19. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: SPICK AND SPAN LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR SERVICES IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SPICK AND SPAN LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

20. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spick and Span LLC, its service providers, and its representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your failure to disclose property hazards or conditions
  • Injuries occurring on your property due to conditions you created or failed to disclose
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • False accusations against service providers

21. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to contact us directly at alwaysshinecleaners@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 14 days. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Fulton County, Georgia in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Small claims court actions may be pursued in lieu of arbitration for claims within the court's jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against Spick and Span LLC.

22. Governing Law

These Booking Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia without regard to conflict of law principles.

23. Modifications

Spick and Span LLC reserves the right to modify these Booking Terms at any time. For existing customers, we will provide notice of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued booking of services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

24. Entire Agreement

These Booking Terms, together with our full Terms of Service and Privacy Policy available at alwayshinecleaners.com, constitute the entire agreement between you and Spick and Span LLC regarding cleaning services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

By completing your booking with Always Shine Cleaners, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Booking Terms.
